INTEGRATED IMAGES AUSTRALIA

Formed as an Incorporated Association in May 2008, Integrated Images is providing unique services in Visual Imagery to a wide range of people who are consider to be disadvantaged.

Special courses have been developed to cater for the needs of people with disabilities, mental health issues, 'at risk' migrant and refugee groups and indigenous communities. These courses specifically cater for the different requirements of these groups in the areas of digital photography, personal development, communication and photojournalism.

Research and the results of trialling these courses over the past two years has shown a significant improvement in communication, socialization, integration, self esteem and confidence, artistic expression and acceptance in the general communities for those who have participated in the courses. It has also shown the therepeaudic powers of photography, much like music, and has created opportunities for employment in areas where they have in the past been considered unemployable.

Support us in providing these new opportunities to people who deserve the same opportunities as everyone else; allow them to communicate to us their thoughts and stories and personal opinions through the simple but powerful medium of visual imagery.
